Working with multilingual students is always a ‘collaborative project’ involving the home and the school. Within a school, ELL teachers, subject teachers, world language and home language teachers collaborate to develop all of a students’ languages. International schools collaborate with each other, and international schools might collaborate with local or community language schools. Schools learn by partnering with academics and vice versa. In this webinar, the MLIE SIG committee members will share why they have chosen to focus on the theme of ‘Multilingual Collaborations’ in their upcoming 2021 conference.
